Ashe County Schools
 Relocating to the area and have

students. The Ashe County NC School
system is comprised of a close knit
network, much like our Ashe

The Ashe County School system is
currently comprised of three elementary
schools, Ashe County Middle School, and
Ashe County High School. All of the
Ashe County NC schools have excellent
school report card records and strive
for excellence and distinction.
The newly constructed Ashe County High
School is the county’s only high school
and is located in West Jefferson NC. It
offers a competitive education for
college bound students and excellent
vocational classes for those interested
in applied fields.
With small classes, friendly students
and teachers and a welcoming network of
people, the Ashe County Schools are much
